On 01.10.23, on the call of the Honorable Prime Minister and under the able leadership of the Honorable Vice Chancellor, a large-scale cleanliness service program 'Ek Taarikh-Ek Ghanta-Ek Saath' was organized by the University at the Guru Gorakhnath Temple located in Katwaria Sarai.
for this program, 47 teachers, 29 officers and employees of the university, 123 students, and 34 other local people were registered and the program was publicized on all the social media pages of the university.
In the said program, Honorable Vice Chancellor's wife and family members, Prof. Piyushkant Dixit, Prof. Devi Prasad Tripathi, Prof. Rachana Verma Mohan, Prof. Vinod Kumar Sharma, Prof. M Jayakrishnan, Prof. Prem Kumar Sharma, Dr. T.N. Giri, Dr. Saurav Dubey, Dr. Savita Rai, Dr. Anmol Sharma, Dr. Deepak Vashishtha, Mr. Manjit Singh, Mr. Anjani Kumar Rai, Mr. Gyan Chand Sharma, Mr. Rajkumar and other departments members were present. A total of more than 250 people including teachers, officers, employees, students, distinguished people of Katwaria Sarai village, and some officers and employees of Power Grid participated in the cleanliness campaign in the Guru Gorakhnath Ram Talab Temple complex and nearby places.
Geotagged photos were taken while carrying out cleaning work and of the cleaned sites. The photos and videos were uploaded on the Swachhata Hi Seva portal.
Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. Murli Manohar Pathak ji was present in Gorakhpur to attend a lecture and a cleanliness campaign was conducted by gathering people there.
The campaign was completely successful.
