The 77th Republic Day was celebrated at the University campus with great enthusiasm, dignity, and a spirit of patriotism. On this occasion, the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Murli Manohar Pathak, paid floral tributes to the statue of Bharat Ratna, former Prime Minister Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, and unfurled the National Flag. This was followed by the collective singing of the National Anthem and a Vedic invocation presented by Prof. Sundar Narayan Jha.

The Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor was welcomed by Prof. Sheetla Prasad Shukla, while the Registrar was welcomed by Prof. Devi Prasad Tripathi. In his inspiring address, the Vice-Chancellor highlighted the significance of the National Flag and emphasized the resolve of Viksit Bharat–2047, underlining the University’s role in achieving this national goal. He also outlined the University’s major achievements, including the successful implementation of the National Education Policy–2020, accreditation with NAAC A++ grade, recognition as Category–1 by the UGC, and initiatives in Open and Distance Learning.

The program witnessed active participation from NCC and NSS cadets. Lieutenant Dr. Abhishek Tiwari presented details of the commendable contributions of NCC cadets, who were subsequently awarded medals by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor. Additionally, employees who rendered outstanding services were honored with certificates of appreciation and incentive awards.

The University fraternity collectively sang Vande Mataram. In the concluding address, Prof. Pawan Kumar Sharma, Registrar expressed gratitude to all faculty members, officers, staff, and students. The program was efficiently conducted by Dr. Parmesh Sharma and concluded in an atmosphere filled with patriotism and enthusiasm.
